How powerful an idea can be?

Every idea possesses great power,

caught in the mind it starts to uncover.

Little by little the idea expands

and slowly, but surely, our life it commands.

Have you ever been in a dark room without any light? It is scary, right? And a complete darkness. If a ray of light does not come in, the darkness continues to rule.

The only way to overcome the darkness is light! It is all we need. The same power possess the good ideas. They can help us overcome our bad habits, limitations and even the unpleasant feeling that darkness is everywhere around us. Turn on the lights boldly. The good ideas are here!

Philosophy of Life

For several years now, I have been fortunate to come across ideas that drastically changed my perspective on so many things, which has inevitably led to a change in many of my actions! Each of these ideas shed more and more light on my mind and fundamentally changed my philosophy of life.

And in my own opinion, our philosophy is one of the factors that most seriously influences our lives. After all, it is the basis on which we make most of our decisions. And what is our philosophy made of - ideas, ideas, ideas.

From an early age we perceive ideas about what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is bad for us. In this way, idea after idea, our current philosophy had been built. Therefore, the best way to change something in our lives is by discovering and applying new ideas.

The Power of Ideas

Let‘s look at the following example. Two 18-year-old students, George and Tom for example, accept and apply different ideas about nutrition, money and lifestyle.

  1. Nutrition

  • George eats healthy food and does not overeat.

  • Tom regularly eats junk food and often overeats.

Which of them will have better health in 20 years?

2. Money

  • George saves at least 10% of his income every month.

  • Tom often spends more than he earns.

Which of them will be in better financial position in 25 years?

3. Lifestyle

  • George regularly sets clear and specific goals.

  • Tom does not know what he wants and just drifts through life, often influenced by other people's aspirations and desires.

Which of the them will be happier and more satisfied with life in 30 years?

I am sure that we all have the same answers to these questions. This is a very clear example of how our lives directly depend on our philosophy, which is made of countless related ideas.

And as we have seen, ideas can both illuminate and obscure our way forward. This is why we must constantly seek and apply the good ideas. The inspiring ideas!

Questions

Think about these questions for a while:

  1. What is your philosophy of life?

  2. What type of ideas is it made of?

  3. Does it need a change in order to live the life you most desire?

Answer these three questions fairly, because it‘s only up to us to keep the light within shining bright. And we should not underestimate the influence of any idea that reaches us, because each and every one has the power to change our lives forever!
